Vivant

VIVANT is french word for live, or to live. This was the theme for the 2010 CFC Singles For Christ Canada National Conference that was appropriately held in Montreal, Quebec.

This particular conference talked about living life to the fullest and in turn enjoying the life that’s been given to us. So I created a logo that “oozes” and almost “squirts” life. During the mind-mapping part of the design process, The phrase “Squeeze the most out of life” really stuck out to me, and was the inpsiration for the shapes in the logo. The direction for this logo was to be playful, loud and exciting. Just the way we should live our lives.

I was also given the task to create a few videos. Since my team and I were on location in Montreal, I didn’t have my usual editing tools and software with me, and was only able to use what our volunteer team had on hand. Considering the circumstances, I think we were able to get our message of joy and excitement across to the attendees. Check them out:
