Featured Projects - A bit of my heart and soul on display
There was no actual word or phrase for this particular conference. It solely depended on a well-renowned Catholic image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Of course I had to put a spin on it.
This conference was all about love. Real love. The kind of love not found in television, movies, or on the radio. The conference really wanted to show both the gritty and real side of true love alongside the usual happy emotions and feelings we feel. I had my awesome friend, Rommuel Gardon illustrate parts of the Sacred Heart of Jesus I had envisioned, and put it together with some elements I had created to complete it. The end result was this awesome text book sketched, anatomical heart that beat with realness.
A fun part of designing for this particular event was the apparel. I came up with the idea to describe the characteristics of God’s love on several different coloured shirts. This was to offset the gritty real look of the Sacred Heart. Love is joyful, and it showed itself visually at the event with the attendees creating this colourful collage by wearing the apparel.
